ITK Engineering AG – now partnering with ASAM e.V.

Since July 1st, ITK has been a member of ASAM e.V., the Association for Standardization of Automation and Measuring Systems.

Within this membership ITK is actively involved in establishing norms and standards. We contribute to improve quality and efficiency of development processes and implement them beneficial to our customers.

About ASAM
ASAM e.V. was founded in December 1998 as an initiative of German OEMs and has currently more than 120 members. With the head office located in Hohenkirchen (near Munich) and agencies in Royal Oak (near Detroit) and Pune (India), the association unites members from Europe, Asia and the US. Their common goal is to improve efficiency and quality in development, production and services. ASAM provides standards for data models, interfaces and syntax specifications for a variety of applications, such as testing, evaluation and simulation. These standards can be subdivided into the categories “automotive electronics” and “testing”, described in more detail in the following diagram.



ASAM standards are specially designed for the development of vehicle control units, data exchange between development partners, data acquisition, data management, test bench automation as well as for the evaluation of measurement data and simulation.
